
The Grassalkovich-kastély, also known as the Royal Palace of Gödöllő, is the largest Baroque palace in Hungary and the second largest in the world. Located just 25 kilometers northeast of Budapest, it is most famous for serving as the preferred summer getaway of Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth ("Sisi") during the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
